This policy explains how shipping works for orders placed through The Foster Brothers Diesel Repair online store.

1. Calculated Shipping

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the items in your order, the delivery address, and the shipping method selected. Rates are not flat and may vary depending on the size, weight, and freight class of the parts ordered. Larger or heavier items, such as engines, transmissions, and other freight-class parts, may carry higher shipping costs due to carrier requirements.

2. Order Fulfillment

Some items are shipped directly from our shop in Jasper, AL, while others are shipped from a distribution partner’s warehouse, including Turn 14 Distribution. If your order contains items from more than one source, they may arrive in separate shipments and at different times. You will not be charged extra for split shipments beyond the shipping cost calculated at checkout.

3. Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within [Insert Number] business days. Special-order or non-stock parts may take longer to ship, as they must first be sourced from the manufacturer or distributor. If an item on your order is on backorder or unavailable, we will contact you with an updated timeline or alternative options.

5. Shipping Carriers

We work with multiple carriers and distribution partners to get parts to you as quickly and affordably as possible. The carrier and shipping method used for your order will depend on the items purchased and the delivery address provided.

6. Freight Deliveries

Some large or heavy items ship via freight carrier rather than standard ground shipping. Freight deliveries may require someone to be present to accept the shipment and may be delivered curbside rather than to your door. If your order includes a freight item, we will provide additional delivery instructions before it ships.

7. Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information by email where available. Orders shipped from a distribution partner’s warehouse will include tracking specific to that shipment.

8. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery window, please contact us as soon as possible at (205) 295-5143 or bandh@dieselrepair.org. Please keep all original packaging, as this may be required to file a claim with the carrier or distributor.

9. Shipping Restrictions
